GR8 Director wins TV Show


Millions of Scottish viewers watched GR8 Director Darren Tunesi and his new bride Gemma win the£10,000 first prize in STV's First Dance. The newly wed's went head to head with another couple to see who could perform their first dance the best at their own wedding. Both couples were trained by professional coaches and had just 10 days to perfect their routines and you can watch their quest for glory on the STV i player at the link below.

The Bullet joins GR8


GR8 are proud to announce that BDO World No 1 and current Winmau World Masters Champion Stephen Bunting will join www.gr8ofdarts.co.uk as our newest team member. Stephen will take his place alongside Dennis Priestley, Kevin Painter, Wayne Jones, Tony O’shea, Anastasia Dobromyslova, Richie Burnett and Chris Mason after Steve Beaton’s withdrawal as he is unable to give the commitment needed to the GR8 team. The following statement was released today and GR8 wishes Steve all the best for the future.
Unfortunately Steve Beaton cannot give the commitment needed for the GR8 of Darts so will no longer be involved with the Team.
Steve will honour the booking at the Liverpool Football Club with Kevin Painter on Friday 1st February 2013 but it will be his last exhibition and involvement with the GR8.
Steve wishes the GR8 Team all the best for the future.
Stephen Bunting is a GR8 addition to our team and we are looking forward to working with one of the top players in the BDO, we will keep all our members informed as to when The Bullet as he is known will be performing his first exhibition for us and all the future events where you can see Stephen in action.

Grand Slam pre-party in Wolverhampton


Wolverhampton's Grand Slam of Darts will be kicked off with a pre-party at a city pub the night before to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.
The tournament kicks off at Wolverhampton Civic Hall next Saturday night and the Cleveland Arms, Stowheath Lane, will get the ball rolling.

They will stage a charity exhibition next Friday night featuring former PDC World Champion Dennis Priestley and women's star Trina Gulliver.
'Dennis the Menace' received the highest accolade the PDC has in 1994, won the BDO equivalent in 1991 and competed in the 2007 Grand Slam.
'Golden Girl' Gulliver has lifted the BDO women's world title on nine occasions and is the World No 5, having played professionally for 16 years.
A number of Grand Slam players will be stopping by as they stay in the area before the £400,000 tournament begins the next day, live on Sky Sports.
Wolverhampton's Wayne Jones, Mark Walsh, Tony O'Shea, Brendan Dolan and 2010 Grand Slamwinner Scott Waites were at the Cleveland last year.
